I'm asking this on behalf of a friend... Please help!

She's recently moved back down to Milton Keynes after splitting with her partner in Sterling, Scotland. They purchased a bed together whilst there on finance (king size leather bed, now taken down and flat packed) and she needs to get it down here.

Can anyone suggest how she might do this? She has contacted various removal places and couriers and no-one can help.

Thanks so much in advance. Any advice would be appreciated.

Try looking in Yellow Pages under 'Freight Forwarders'. Some will deliver door to door, some you need to get it to their depot. Also try a pallet delivery company. These make up truck loads of odd pallets and trunk them, up and down the country. Put 'pallet delivery' in Google and you will get loads. NB Make sure you specify you want a tail lift collection/delivery, otherwise they will expect you to have a forklift truck handy!
Can she drive? If so, there are very many self drive van hire companies in Milton Keynes. Just phone round for the cheapest and set off next Saturday !!! If not, look in the MK paper, there are many van and driver advertisements and just pick the most suitable.
