Quiet and small though I am had I been sitting close to those ignorant women I would have reacted.....remove their phone.....fetch an usher......but they really, really would not have had a phone out near me.....x

Ummmm...as I have done in the past....asked them to stop....using a phone.....talking or constantly rustling sweet papers...
If they refused I would have had to leave my seat and fetch an usher or the manager...a brief interruption during a performance I know but it needs to be done...


To go to a London show costs me around £200.....I don't go to sit behind someone with a phone or being annoying.....
And I know what it does to performers when they can see the lights from phones....or the constant chattering....it's just not fair...x

At the theatre you're always told to switch your phones off before the start of the performance. Rude and ignorant in my opinion.
