Strange thing that there is precious little reporting of it on our "official" news outlet. Is that because the Muslim League were involved?

No, its because he is a former Prime Minister of a minor insignificant country, and someone that most British people will not have even heard of. Everyone has heard of Donald Trump, no one has heard of ex-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The reason it is not repirted in this country is because no one is interested.
