Musical mystery pains in the....

God damn.... I am sick of coming on this site and seeing musical mystery questions - Surely if you can't answer them yourselves you don't deserve to win? There are at least 10 musical mystery questions cluttering the pages at the moment and its driving me mad so I needed to rant ( sorry guys ) But aren't you all sick of it yet???

Yes! I am completely fed up with it, and I have no idea what all the cryptic numbers and letters are which people keep spouting out mysteriously, as if to imply that we somehow have the slightest clue what they are on about! As far as I can tell, there is some sort of list of questions on another website on various general-knowledge type questions. The point about general knowledge quizzes is that one is supposed to be stimulated to find out the answers by doing some proper research in books or by googling or whatever - not by hijacking another website.

If the government of North Korea really does have some chemical or biological weapons, then let's hope that it will test them out by dropping a chemical bomb on these deranged quiz fanatics, and then the answerbank site will be left to the rest of us normal reasonable people.

get a grip of yourselves ya couple of fannies! so what, if people want to ask for help with questions? that's the whole point of this site! its not a chatroom, but a forum for getting questions answered.

why do you think you're more normal than the people who are using the site for which it was intended, i.e. research in order to answer some questions?

i think they (and my digs in other questions) are to the AB ED to get his finger out and make a quiz section as the other sections are becoming flooded and we're fed up with it. I particularly hate questions on adverts (who is the girl in the latest dogfood advert cos i've got a crush on her.....) but at least there's a section for them so i can just ignore that category.............

I was indeed mr 42. greedyfly no offence was meant, just that I was surprised at the attitude of you and bernardo to what is really a legitimate use of this site, indeed its only purpose.

I agree though that it would make perfect sense to have a quiz section, and to take off the NEW from the adverts section!

I think that what annoys me about it is that so many of the questionners are simply quoting the reference number of the question, without actually asking the question.
