Don't get me wrong, I detest this piece of dumbed down televisual crud, but a friend of mine posed me a question he saw on there but couldn't remember the correct answer! The question was: 'Which movie had 15 minutes with no dialogue in it's intro? or words to that effect! !

Was it Saving Private Ryan?

I don't actually know the answer to this one so it isn't a quiz or anything! I would like to hear what you think though!
I hate that rubbish but in between flicking channels I did see this question! It was actually 10 minutes and the answer was... ... ... Oh bum I can't remember. I'll have a think and get back to you. It wasn't Saving Private Ryan though.

Hang on, it may have been "The Third Man." Was there a film of this name? I'll try and think harder.

might it have been "the good, the bad and the ugly"?? I heard the same Q on something recently, dont think it was the 24 hr quiz thing though.
I didn't see the televisual crud, but I think the answer is The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
How about 2001: A Space Odyssey.
"Once Upon a Time in the West" is another film with a long silent intro - don't know if it runs to 15 mins, though. 2001 seems a more likely answer (as it's more famous).
