T.v. And Broadband
2 Answers
Like me, my friend is with TalkTalk broadband/phone/T'V., she lives 30 miles away from me and today she went into her T.V.Iplayer to watch a programme on catch up, and it as asked her for her email address and password, which she doesn't know. Apparently there is a new system in place on all T.V.'s. I checked on mine and it has automatically remembered my password though I can't remember adding it. She has phoned TalkTalk and they said she needs to get in touch with her T.V. company (thick or what, her T.V. provider IS talktalk.) Anybody know how she can get into iPlayer and catch up? There is NOTHING on her T.V. screen to allow her to change her password,

As Guilbert says, you need to register your details with the BBC in order to watch iPlayer content.
There's a 'Sign In' box at the top left of this page:

(If she's not yet provided her details she should still click on that box. She'll then find a 'Register now' option available to her)
