Not that many immediately near me as we have balconies, and that can cause problems for others - but it does waft over the water from the gardens opposite.
Usually accompanied by children laughing and a bit of music, nice to hear folk having fun.
This is not a post about plastics .
But for your information I never buy bottled water and try to avoid as many plastic wrapped foods as possible.
I wish we could return to the days of paper bags and glass containers but that is never going to happen.
Hi, Conne......just what I was thinking....not one barbecue here. When we returned from Canada MrG brought with us an all singing all dancing barbecue.....it was a pain....just made him think he could cook when I did it all in the kitchen then he just stood around in a silly apron burning stuff and waving tongs about....... :-)
Most weekends I've had to close my doors and windows for long periods as my house has been invaded by putrid smoke. The fumes firstly smell of paraffin from firelighters and then are followed up by the stench of burning fat and gristle. Quite why anybody should choose to burn meat in such an unsuitable and antisocial fashion is quite beyond me.
