Media, Film, Drama - fairly 'new' subjects are often seen as easy although in my Drama degree I studied Postmodernism and Theatre of the Enlightenment... not running around being trees!

Similarly the old polytechnics are often viewed as being easier to get a degree but I think that's probably rubbish fuelled by those snobby Oxbridge types.

Personally, I think the easiest degree is something you enjoy and are motivated to do. eg I am sure some people find Sports Studies very enjoyable and easy but for me, it would be a far greater challenge than studying Linguistics (which I did)!

Have a look at the UCAS website for ideas or the open university website.

Good luck!

Psychology or art because providing you can spurt random gobbledygook with some semblance of an argument/point, then you are bound to pass. Have you ever listened to any of these people??!

I think miss_chase is right, degrees require you to read (e.g. reading for a degree) so you'll be more motivated and pay more attention to material you're interested in...

Octavius clearly has never studied Psychology then. You need to do a lot of Biopsychological stuff about Brains and how the body functions. You also need to do a lot of statistics involving huge equations and suchlike.

It certainly isnt as easy as spurting waffle...

I agree with Melv, Psychology is definately not an easy degree, there are a lot of complicated theories to understand, as well as the Biology and Stats, maybe it's too above Octavius to fully understand I think, or maybe psychologists scare him.

Anyway in answer to the question, like Miss_Chase says its best for you to chose a subject you like and are good at as then things will probably not seem as hard, also think about your furture career if possible and this might allow you to choose easier!

Good Luck!

PS Why were you after the 'easiest' degree anyway?! I don't think many degrees can be classed as easy!

You are both right of course. I have not studied psychology, it is too above me and they scare me. With such insightfulness I guess you both have.
although sports science is seen as 'easy' option its really not! in the 3 years that i studied for it at uni i havent done one bit of practical work and iv done various modules in nutrition, psychology, anatomy, physiology etc. all very hard and complex.
