Given that everyone (or so it seems) spends any ‘quiet moments of contemplation’ checking their phones and posting on AB (see other threads passim), are we witnessing the death of a valubale cultural icon?

Will we never see the like of “101 things to do with a Daily Telegraph” again?

This is my first home that hasn't had a library, I have a separate bathroom so bath books are a possibility a small shelf may be built in when I redecorate.
The Meaning of Liff by Douglas Adams is an excellent toilet read.

When doing courses I used to keep 'basics of' type books for a bit of revision
I'm currently re-reading (20yrs ago) the aptly name 'The Log' A Dwarfers guide to everything by Craig Charles.
