I miss Mikey, could never agree with his politics but away from that he was ok.
He actually offered to show us around the revamped Swansea Marina/ Waterfront area if we ever went down there.

He called Willy a Yorkshire Wolfhound, he was very small but he thought that he was a huge warrior hound. :-)

I never asked him, or heard Mikey say who is favourite singers were. (Does anybody know, by the way?)

Anyway, I went looking for a birthday gift by my favourite soprano and found a beautiful song I'd never heard before. Then I remembered Elisabeth Schwarzkopf's alleged association with the Nazi party.

So - just for this day - Leontyne Price will be my favourite.
