Well I'm hoping we shall see it but who knows. The weather forecast has been hopelessly inaccurate for here just lately.

We had an hour of lightning last night - no thunder, but a short shower of rain. Sun splitting the cassies again.

friend of mine reported a red moon at 3am this morning, though presumably not related to an eclipse.

They were promising rain all day here in the deep south but so far not a drop. (The radar does show some Irish rain about, though.)

Ever since the dry spell started we had just 1 hour of sharp rain. Yesterday we had thunder, no rain (not even a drop) and a beautiful rainbow which persisted for a long time.

Light cloud, Sandy....they've been pretty accurate during this heatwave except for the timing of the storms which have been a few hours out.
If it's like last night it will be beautiful.....strange cloud formations around a huge moon....x

Here in Dundee we have been promised a blood red moon tonight at about 9.25 pm.

I was looking forward to this, planned to go and sit out on a field at the back of friend's hosue with some wine and watch it, BUT cloud is forecast - typical ! Also, Mars is going to be very bright tonight and can be seen underneath the blood moon. Flamin' cloud ...
