A family member was a front desk civilian receptionist for a very large newly built police station. This company (?) rang the number and offered a discount to replace all the windows in the building......until they were told there were over 100 windows and did they mind it would be for the recently built police station..... Brilliant, I loved it..... I think they cut the call PDQ.
get similar phone calls every week, i block them, but they just change their number, i get all sorts phoney bank internet microsoft etc, a lot use voip to disguise themselves accents are a dead giveaway mostly

Shirley, the electronic lady from BT rings to warn me my t'interweb is due to be cut off imminently.....which is strange 'cos I don't have my service from BT.
Although, I had a very nice lady from somewhere in India tell me that I have problems with my TalkTalk account....she introduced herself as Jonathon. :o)
