Hi, we currently have oil fuelled central heating and are planning to convert to gas. Does anyone know if it is possible to get any kind of grant to help offset the cost of the conversion as it is more environmentally friendly etc..

as a heating engineer i know that at present there is no financial help available. you have to pay for the cost of your own gas service. approx 700 !
It is not more environmentally friendly!

Oil comes from the same source as gas, both are burned to produce heat!
