What sort of duvet tog would be suitable for camping in this country (SW) at this time of year? I went into the loft to get one and it's 13.5 tog so I need to go out and buy a cheap one from the market. Don't want to be too hot or too cold.

I'd go for a 7.5 Tog, obviously if the heatwave hits hard again then that may be too warm.

I always take a super thick one then if i get too hot I just kick it off and lie on it so super comfy :)
Would a combi be suitable? I believe it comes with 2 duvets, e.g. a 4.5 Tog and a 7.5 Tog, You can use either on its own, or combined together using poppers in the corners for a warmer 12 Tog duvet.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like the overnight temp will be between 12 and 15 C
I wouldn't go camping - the very idea! - but if I did I'd take a thick duvet. You can always kick it off.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will go with the 7.5 tog. Really looking forward to the novelty of camping
Alternatively, a few generous G&Ts before bed and you won't care what you're sleeping under (duvet, the stars, your man).

^ I was thinking that. Last and only time I camped was at the V Festival in 2001 and I don`t remember going to bed
I'd get the warmest I can, frankly. You can always sleep under it and chick it off if too hot.
Enjoy yourself.
Even in a heatwave it's cold at night especially if there's no cloud.
I d stick with the 13.5 tog one that you got down from the loft myself. It can get chilly at night in a tent.
