Should be an advower but not in Chambers which has advowson as the noun not the person.
My e is definitely right! Any ideas?

Thanks Mamyalynne. That's not fair! As the prize is a Chambers you'd assume any answer would be in Chambers. How many dictionaries are we expected to own!
Good point, I don't know.

As the definition is 'mostly historical' I imagine some do get dropped.
