I am regularly getting air in my central heating system. I have to bleed the radiators every 3/4 days. I do this with the system off ie. with the pump not working. What is causing this and how can I solve the problem permanently? Thanks in advance.

It sounds as though you have a leak somewhere. Initially, I would suggest inspecting the pipes and radiators for leaks in a methodical way, i.e work from the boiler and follow the pipes all the way around the house. If no leak is visible then possibly the problem is under the floorboards. Before tearing up the floor though, make sure the pump is sound and not leaking.
I would check the small F&E water tank normally in the loft first. Make sure the ball valve's not stuck and the tank has a decent head of water.
