Just heard on the news on Radio 2, police searching for the missing nurse have found a body and 3 men are being questioned. How i feel for this lady's family.
As A-H says, a local story for us Stokies and very tragic for her and the family. But having followed this in the local paper something that I find a bit odd is the fact that the police started a missing person investigation because she was 20 minutes late for work. Since when did the police start investigating someone because they are a bit late for work?
I suppose the full story will emerge soon enough but I just found that a bit odd.
I rather feared this would be the outcome of the Police Search.
Nailit, I guess it is because people from the hospital raised the alarm rather than a hysterical family member. It was probably also extremely out of character for her. Perhaps colleagues knew she was the subject of harassment too? Purely all speculation, of course.
The plot thickens. I revise my previous theory in light of the police statement but I still feel this is a family job. Was the poor woman in another relationship? We will just have to wait and see.
So it's her ex's brother-in-law who is charged with her murder. Goodness knows what chain of events led to this terrible end. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/index.html
