If you've got an app on your computer/phone/tablet/whatever that can play MP3 music files (as you almost certainly have) you've already got everything you need to play podcasts.

PS: If you want to look beyond the BBC you might find it useful to install a dedicated app to help you to find them. However, since they're MP3 files, you don't actually need any special app to play them.
