Havnt participated but have been reading Jordy's posts. Also read, in the past, other posts of a similar ilk... AB cliques etc.
The way I see it is that AB has a relatively small user base (compared to other similar sites) with a hardcore base of frequent users. The users of this site represent all spectrums...
Young and old
Atheists and believers
Lefties and righties
Pro & anti (whatever)
Brexeters and remainers
Professionals and non-professionals
The sane and the not so sane
etc etc
Is it not to be expected then, that not everyone here will agree with everyone else on every subject?
Ive received some unbelievable support from people on here that I otherwise disagree with on almost everything.
I have been (on reflection) unbelievably rude to some posters here at times, to the same people that have given me support and advice in the past....Im sorry to say.
But the converse has been equally true as well.
Maybe we should all just 'suck it up buttercup' and except that is the nature of communicating through a computer (was going to type pooter but that would upset Jordy...)
I find it a bit juvenile to keep a 'nice' book on people that you don't even know. Theres folk on here that I have vehemently disagreed with but no doubt my experience of the actual person would be different if I were to meet them over a pint.
I feeling that Umm. My bf said 'Where f ***k did you get that huge Spanish ass from?' so I told him about the Armada sinking and the local women marrying all the half drowned Spanish sailors lol. Twonk really thought that's why I've got a fat behind.
Very little offends me. BM has met my OH....couldn't live with someone like him if you're easily offended.
He keeps telling me I'm fat. I'm not fat!

I always taught my son: You NEVER use the ‘F’ word when discussing the fairer sex......you use the ‘C’ word.
Christopher Hitchens, when questioned about the rogues’ gallery in For the Sake of Argument said that for some it is the first love that they remember, whereas for him it is the first hate. Some do take an obsessive interest in people they don’t like.
We had a rather unpleasant discussion on crosswords a number of years ago, Jim, or to put it more honestly, I was rather unpleasant. It has bugged me ever since.
