Recently Rowan mentioned white feathers after a bereavement ......I've heard so much about this and dismissed it......well sort of.
Dave and I are sitting on the patio and we were chatting about a lass we know who gave birth to twins last month....one was born dead and one lived only a few weeks.....this has upset us both tremendously.....
As we were speaking two lovely white feathers floated down onto the patio......
Bit special.......x

Oh for a visiting fox...... :-(
My next door neighbour had a picture that was very special to him...he had to go into care for a while so I was taking care of his house.
I went in one day and noticed the picture had fallen behind the sideboard and was smashed......went home to a call to say he'd died.
I had the picture restored and still have it....don't much like it but it's my memory of him....he was a lovely man...x

MrG and I loved Red Kites and were very involved when they were being re-introduced here.
When I was thinking of buying this house after he died a friend and I, viewing, sat on the patio as I dithered...until a Red Kite did a low fly past....
You have your answer, said Sue.....and I did.... :-)
