Selling Ticket Online

I have a ticket for an event that I can't go to. I'm just about to list it for sale on eBay and Viagogo.
What bothers me is that it's a home printed ticket with my name on it.
People sell tickets all the time, presumably also with their own name on them. Is there a risk here?
I have an unusual name, and could be easy to track down.
How do people usually get round this?

Don't know if it was in the English papers, but the Daily Record reported this week that Ticketmaster are closing down their secondary resale sites. Instead they will be offering a resale option on their site.

What do the terms and conditions of the ticket say?

I've never been to a venue where I have been asked for ID. I believe Glastonbury might have done it but most don't so I doubt it will be a problem. I`ve heard bad things about Viagogo. Might be best to stick with eBay

If you sell it for face value or slightly less I cant see anyone complaining.

Thank you all. I've never been ID'd while going to an event, either.
It just bothers me that my name will be on the ticket, and if something goes wrong somehow the buyer (if there will be one) might have it in for me.
I'll sell it for less than face value anyway.

To be honest, there are so many people going through the doors at major events/concerts, that nobody has the time to check ID

Please check with the venue before you list it to see if they can help you at all. They might resell it, swap it or something.

To be honest, if anything goes wrong you might regret it.
