Sunday. It's wet out. I was doing as barbie today, but methinks it will be indoors for friends coming for dinner today today.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I had a lovely day yesterday. I took friends to the Donkey Sanctuary to meet Pedro. They fell in love with him too. :o} Afterwards we had lunch in the nearby pub. Excellent, we will be going there again. As we were ready to leave herself, I music teacher) played happy birthday on the pub piano. :o}
A lovely day was had by all.

Morning WBM. I am glad to hear that you had a nice day yesterday. At least you have a birthday in the summertime. I have my birthday in the middle of January when it's freezing cold, most people are skint from the C Festival and everyone's liver is drying out.

Not much on the agenda for me today. I promised to cook my husband a breakfast this morning (sausage, bacon, bubble & squeak, sauteed cherry tomatoes, fried bread and poached eggs). Lord knows how he stays so lean. We're going to start packing a few of the non-essentials in readiness for our house move and will be cleaning up and doing housework along the way. We went to look at a few bathroom places yesterday and saw some nice stuff. I pointed out the things I liked to himself and then he started going on about ... what was it ... a "budget" ??

Anyway, here's wishing everyone a pleasant, stress-free Sunday.

Twas flipping aussie rellies arrived unannounced, they left a note "be back soon". Ive stuck my note to door "Open at 11am"
