Thank you both very much for your advice on my tooth extraction pain. As a result of your answers I have seen my GP and am now on a course of antibiotics and painkillers !! Had you not answered I may well have struggled on for another couple of days thinking I ought to be able to cope with tooth extraction !! Thanks again for the answers that gave me a push in the direction of the GP. XX

We're here for you, Flump. But also pat yourself on the back for following through with the doc. You're quite right - we often struggle far too long with pain for fear of being pegged a hypochondriac. Best of luck with the drugs, and be sure to apply ice cream at frequent intervals.
