New series tonight, wish they would just get on with it, too much faffing about, can do without the profiles just want to see the baking.

Well, I enjoy knowing where they come from, what they do, and what motivates or inspires their baking. Maybe I'm more interested in people.

I like to know a little bit about them, but am struggling to remember who's who at the moment as there are too many to start with.

Oh I like to have an idea of the person...poor Imelda she was so nervous. I think it adds to the enjoyment if you know a bit about them and can get a bit of enthusiam going for your favourites...it would be really boring if it was simply about mixing dough and bunging it in the oven...bit like robots.

The way she finished her biscuits and sat smugly eating a bag of crisps. Made me laugh tho.

I thought it was a good start, didn’t really get into it last year, but the self portraits seemed a good idea to get to know them. The 3D brandy snap mask was a bit scary tho

I've noticed that most of them are fairly ugly:-)
