How can I stop someone seeing when I go into the Watsapp App on my phone. I keep getting told when the last time was I looked at my phone and don't like that intrusion of privacy.

Have you checked the WhatsApp settings ? Have feeling that there was something there.

Top right there's three vertical dots. Clocik on those, then Settings -- Privacy -- Last seen, and choose "Nobody".

You can change your privacy settings, but WhatsApp became not safe to use. I'm not sure if they even give us any privacy. That's why I decided to switch to Signal in order to be safe and don't lose my data.
