Anybody managed to escape the rain?
Has been raining heavily here all day

I put the heating on during the week too and the electric blankets

Rained all day here, heating has been on.

Was hoping the drought would kill off my weeds

It's been chucking it down all day. If I feel a bit chilly I put a cardy on.
I refuse to put the heating on until at least late November.

Hi, Daisy.....I quite welcomed a day of non stop rain...I am still working on my garden...a head full of ideas so it will never be finished...a funny new little shed ordered because I fancy the look of it tucked in the corner under ivy...Dave says it looks like an old outside toilet....?
This meant the base to be laid and digging this soil is back breaking...I could make pots with the clay... :-(

The rain today meant I had a full day in my sewing room with plays and stories on the radio.....heating on because it was a cold day...a very cosy and pleasant day......bliss....x

Okay, Tony...I will....but you'll have to wait til I paint and bling it up to fit in my garden.....it's thin and does have a tiny door just under the roof.....trying to work out how to put a cuckoo clock inside to pop out of the little door...... :-)

Annoyed that I had to put the fire on this weekend, don't usually do that until October ! Our plans went slightly awry because of all the rain this weekend, but still had a good time with friend who visited, albeit the BBQ was held inside with food cooked in the oven and on the gas hob instead !
