I was in touch with a user called Gadget. We used to speak to each other every week. He's a big Arsenal fan. I'm United. We used to have some good banter. Then his wife became very ill, and he lost his job. He worked at the post office. He stopped communicating. I emailed but no reply. His son was a DI in the met and he (Gadget) lived in Croydon. Not heard from him for a few years now. He doesn't answer my emails, although they don't bounce back as failed. I still wonder about him.

I remember MWB. A mad NZer. We had a convo in a chat room one night. I think she and I, Legend, Pasta, Cazzz, Noknow and Icemaiden were present. There were possibly others. I am not sure why she suddenly stopped posting but she was fun and there wasn't a trace of artifice or malice to her.

I knew MWB personally over a number of years. Never met Leggy but followed his rants with amusement. Him and Knobby trolling the cabbages kept me up way too late on Friday nights
