In Body Language, does anybody know what it means when a female pulls the labels off of her beer bottles? i was told once that it did not mean that she is bored. Can anybody help me out with this please? Thanks
I have heard, although it's probably an urban legend, that if anyone (male or female) pulls labels off beer bottles etc. it is an indication of their sexual fustration. Same with tearing into plastic and polystyrene cups.
I'm not sure if that's the same thing, sft42 unless I've got the wrong end of the stick. Snopes.com is talking about deliberately taking labels off beer bottle in tact in order to win the admiration of the oposite sex (this is America we're talking about...), whereas I understood the question to be talking about the subconscious act of ripping bottle labels. You know when you're sat in a pub with a couple of bottles of Beck's/Bud/Vodka and while you're sat talking you have to tear at the wet label? Just me?
Yeah, i've heard it's sexual frustration, but i think that's a load of old gak. I do it myself. I pick beer-mats to pieces too. I reckon it's just nerves-I have been known to be HIGHLY STRUNG GNRRRRMMPH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
p.s. in a nervous way. not in a noose+neck+drop=dead way.
Ah yes, Lisa-Marie but in the Small thread above this one, you admit that your friends get more attention than you in clubs... maybe you're just not getting any?
LOL, well indiesinger i do think your wrong, im just admitting the fact that being tall, slim and toned isnt always a good thing. im only helping boost peoples confidence, but as you were only kidding i'll let you away with it ;o)
Omg that snopes.com website was soooo funny! we had that a while back but i didn't know about that colour code thing. plus, no-one takes it seriously neway, it's not like "oh no, you have to have sex with him now." But this is england so maybe it was a big deal in America?
