St Tony thinks not. Are the Labour supporters on here happy with the current position of the party within the political spectrum?

Three-time Tony, the most successful Labour PM ever, has a point. He realised that to actually win elections, the centre ground needs to be on board- to take votes away from the Tories and Lib Dems. That's why he won three elections for Labour. However, Corbyn could still become PM. Here's how- at the next election, it is unlike the Tories will win another...

Have you stopped beating your wife?
Absolutely, 3Ts. Couldn't agree more. (And also remember, of course, that it was the organ-playing sailor who took us into the "Common Market").
Blair famously said pre-1997 that if elected his government 'New' Labour would carry on with Thatcher's economic policies.

If anything disqualified him from leading a socialist party, that did.

The PR juggernaut that the Tories and their capitalist friends have set rolling - this time over the blatant, awful lie, that the Labour party is in some way anti-semitic - has the usual philosophical problem. It is far easier to push forward a lie than to deny it.

Labour party members, socialists of every hue, have been fighting against the 'Jew-baiters' for many decades - in fact at Cable Street our ancestors stood shoulder-to-shoulder with London's Jewish people and actively fought the fascists.

Where were the Tories then? Where the beloved Daily Mail then?

We will overcome, again, working people (of EVERY creed and colour) standing together.

Tony Blair? I spit on him.

It’s a coalition that I would doubt the most, the snp would certainly work with labour but a coalition gov naw chance.

au contraire BB - the situation the party finds itself in now is largely as a result of action - or inaction - by its own members, notably naz shah, ken livingstone and mr corbyn himself.

have a day off Brainrig, even the labour party have accepted they are anti semitic, why else would they have adopted the official parameters?
Blair's right about one thing. A choice between Boris and Jeremy for the next Prime Minister is not really an acceptable one.
more unrest from the off-message centre of the party:-
