We have a strange thing in the bedroom.
What passes for a dressing table. There are two drawers in the unit side by side. One opens normally. The other doesn't open. On the desk top over the drawer that doesn't open is a circular glass filled hole about fifteen inches diameter and you can see bedding stored in it but no means of getting at it. No locks are visible. Very strange. I might ask staff about it in the morning.

Caran, whatever you do, do NOT open that drawer. The bedding was probably last used in the 1920's. If you open the drawer you'll find yourself in a horrendous situation ala "The Shining"!

You can get 'Stealth' furniture with hidden magnetic locks but you wouldn't normally have a viewing window.
