Cartoons are not meant to be flattering, the cartoonist takes the most prominent features of their subject and exaggerates them and has always done so.

/// Your personal 340 questions, AOG. I just thought that over the years and using the 1000's of answers you've received, you might have realised that racism is subjective. ///

Blimey Zacs you are certainly obsessed as regards me, almost a stalker one could say.
Why on earth have you bothered to count every question that I have entered regarding racism, and not only that but the number of answers that I have received, do you note how many questions some have asked on Trump, Brexit, etc?

/// Every time you ask, you get different opinions. I just thought you might have learned from this, no? ///

Do not be concerned, I have learnt plenty from the different opinions that I have received.

/// By the way, I don't think the cartoon is racist. But then I'm white so there's a predilection for me to think that way, just like you. ///

That is strange because most of those who think it is racist, happen to be white.
I thought I was gonna be - so shocking it cannot be shown etc
I mean to a certain extent if you are going to be in the spotlight and live off the earnings,
then you take the rought widda smoov

//exaggerates them and has always done so. //
um no - see the Leonardo cartoons - outlines for the frescoes
so the meaning of 'cartoon' has changed oops
and I think you are referring to "caricature"
.// 'The law has clearly been applied and acknowledged ' (in this instance). has it? Where and when?// ZM

here is the nearest I cant get [ but you knew I was gonna say that didnt you?]

AOG, if I type your username and the word racist into the search box, it tells me how many questions you’ve asked with the word ‘racist’ in the title. No counting necessary. 340! Don’t you think that’s a bit obsessive?

Plus 121 with the word racism in the title!

Yes you are correct 340 of my questions are about race.

Since I have asked 7,517 question in the period I have been a member, then it means that I have asked 7,177 that have not been about race.

I have been a member for 12 years, so in that time I have asked approx. 28 questions on race per year.

Care to check up on how many posts of yours mention AOG?

Any danger of returning to the Question?
How quickly these posts go off at a tangent. The cartoon is not in the least bit funny IMO, but who in Australia cares what I think?

People in Australis don't know, rather than don't care what you think - but people on here do - that's why we post our opinions.
Oh dear, what a carfuffle about an Australian cartoon. Couldn't personally give a flying fig so I'll just bow out now before I upset AH any more.

Please don't bow out on my account, I am not upset in the slightest, and am confused as to why you think I would would be - ?
Racist phooey! I think it's good. It made me laugh.
^ lol agree.

Nah.
As was said in the OP, the whole point of cartoons is to be unflattering. Remember Gerald Scarfe's depictions of Ted Heath and Margaret Thatcher?
