You know that if a hotel is called the "Quality Hotel" then ... it isn't.
Especially if they spell it "Kwality"
So if you're an ordinary girl, who can't sing, and you want people to think you're posh ... try calling yourself "Posh"
Okay up to a point.
But then you launch your range of bags, and price them at £895. Aren't you really saying ... thanks to my gullible fans for all your support, but you're never going to have one of my bags because you're all too poor. I'm wealthy and you lot are not, and I don't want people like you owning my bags. They are for my "new friends", the ones with more money than you lot, ha ha. Now go away and buy yourself a McDonalds, and get your grubby little hands off my bags, or the shop assistant will have to ask you to put it down.
So ... if you had £900 to spend ... would you buy one of "Posh" (ha ha) Spice's rather ordinary handbags?
Would I ?
Thinks, thinks, no.

Clark was a great character and notorious philanderer. When he applied to be the Conservative candidate for Kensington, one of the selection committee, mindful of that, asked him whether he had any "skeletons in the closet" which he had not revealed to them and got the reply "Madam, some days it is so full that I can hardly get the door shut!" He was selected, and won.
