OK I tried bumping my earlier question but it obviously doesn't work here. Pleeeease can someone explain to me what is supposed to be going on in the GHD advert? Some woman screams and storms out on her boyfriend, then he has drink of whisky and rubs ice on his neck. Meanwhile another woman (or is it the same woman? I can't work it out...) comes round in a taxi, packs her bag and leaves again - the guy drops his whisky glass and tries to run aftre the taxi. I really don't understand what it's all about!!
I think that she takes the GHD straighteners? It shows that first he could not care less, then when he reaslises that she has got the hair straighteners, then suddenly he is very upset!
Gist is....
She leaves, he's extremly c0cky knowing she'll come back (note the smug smile when she does). However, she's only returned for her GHD's, he's not a happy bunny when he realises and tries to chase the taxi she's leaving in.
Last night it all made sense for me - there's actually a full length advert the entire length of an advert break explaining the whole story. The short adverts we usually see are, well, short adverts for it!
It makes it all clear but storyline is very basic as per above!
