Someone just left a washing machine outside their house ,on the pavement .
I said to her indoors , that it will be gone in at least a days time

Within the space of 15 minutes , along came a fella with his trolley and loaded it up

A few metres up the road he attempts to cross the road and gets stuck in the middle of the road with said machine on trolley
He is there for ages trying to shift it

Oh dear poor soul. When I want rid of things I put it out and usually they are 'collected' by someone within a few hours at least. Best way to get rid....and sometimes things will do others a good turn. Otherwise I put them on Freecycle or Freegle for peep to collect. Best way to recycle thing...one mans trash is another's treasure so they say.

we have a man who comes around in a truck ringing a bell he takes all our scrap .when I put the old dishwasher and tumble in front garden he came and knocked and asked if we wanted to get rid of them ,he saves us money as we would have to pay the council to collect stuff x
