Bows, that isn't the answer, they are the words to be anagrammed - I just googled the quiz.

I have been trying for the last three weeks put it down again for a couple of days and start again. I suppose it would help if I lived in Lincoln and not in Wales thanks for trying
Big clue for you

it's 4,3,6

Means

"There is a burden to sustain under honour".
I have found a place that fits the anagram - at Sleaford, Lincs
Crowland Abbey issued the first-ever peal of bells in 986.

Bows, who founded the club....?
Find words for - Burden and under and honour (Latin) as my clue suggests.

I gave the letter count.

It was a very challenging but very enjoyable quiz - good luck Bows.
The print was so small that I had difficulty reading it even with a magnifying glass. Anyone else had the same problem?
I didn't find that M - and I am partially sighted. Maybe the settings when you printed it?
Hi All,
Thank you to all those here that asked for a copy of the Spalding Gentlemen's Society quiz. Hope you are managing to answer some if not all of the questions.
This is just a reminder that the closing date for entries is in less than two weeks, 30th September. Please send in your answer sheets even if you have not completed it, it is of course the taking part that is important, and for us at the Society the money we can raise for our current and future funding needs that is also crucial to us.
Please continue to ask clues if you are struggling with some of the questions, it was my first attempt at writing a quiz, and so far the feedback has been positive, although it is perhaps a little bit too tough. Sorry about that.
Dave
