You have an old copy?
As has been pointed out before, there is the Daily Mail Cryptic and the Daily Mail Pitcherwits crosswords
Well, there you go!
I explained earlier but you left the thread.

At least we got the right paper - some just say 'what's 14d?'

One and tuppence - innit!
Good one, Flonska!
@ Flonska, Very Good! (and yes I'm well old enough to remember)
What's a 'One'?
My training to become a "decimal adviser" stood me in good stead and since 15/02/1971, I have always refused to succumb to using the expression of "pee" to describe all denominations of pence.
In real money, Tilly, "One" would mean . . . a shilling - (usually written as 1/-). 1/6d would be said as "One and Six"
