Texting exs

Was just reading a different post and someone said something that interested me...say you text someone, from time to time,who you used to go out with (say you text them or they text you once every four or five weeks )and you had broken up not because you stopped liking each other but due to some other reason (but you remained friends) and he suddenly starts cutting out texting mid conversation with no explanation, does this mean that they still have feelings for you as this wouldnt happen with people you were just friends with all along?? This happened with me and i asked him straight out what the reason for his cutting out was as he used NEVER do that. He gave some half assed reason but still continues to do it......

I am a bit confused as well as to what cutting out means but for the pure fact that you ex keeps in touch with you means more than you think!

Mine broke up with me 7 months ago and swore he couldn't cut me out of his life... I haven't heard anything from him since and he didn't even send me a happy birthday text! Pr!ck!

Im not sure which post your talking about but i am having a similar problem.

I dont understand why an ex who your supposed to be friends with would do that! to me the only logical reason is that he wants to leave u hanging and for you to stew a bit BUT the only reason they would want that is because they fancy you surely!!

Are we being thick guys? is there a genuine reason as to why u cut us off in mid converstaion and then come up with an absolutely lame excuse that not even you believe?!

i frankly give up!

Rubyrose, I dont think his current girlfriend would be happy that your ex is sending you happy birthday texts. My wife would be madder than the maddest lady who ever left mad town on the maddest day of the year if she thought I was sending that type of message to any of my ex's.
