i was wondering if you could help me. I am going to attend a job interview and I think that one of the questions may be: Can you think of a situation in which you have been flexible and give us one example?
I have a few answers ready but would like to get to know your opinion on the matter.
Try to think of occasions when you have volunteered for things in previous roles - like working outside of normal hours, or travelling to a site to do some work. I think they'd ask that sort of question to see if you're a willing volunteer, or whether you'd be flexible without having to be pushed.
You can be flexible in your attitude (personal working practices, such as extra hours under pressure) your approach (team meeting to discuss the best way forward, but if you are leader then you make a decision based on what you think is right (taking into account the input from colleagues), otherwise you will seem weak), your philosphy (embracing new ideas that will help meet targets).
