Yeah! Happy St.Gerorge's day!!! Why is it that we don't actually "do" anything? I mean, on St.Patricks day, the Irish go out and get gatted! Right! That's IT!! I'm going to go out and get drunk later in,er,protest. Or maybe even in the pub. ;) xx

is it me, or are people celebrating it more this year than usual?

normally i don't notice people doing anything for st george's day, but this year half the people in this office are wearing england football or rugby shirts and they've put england flags up. and out and about at lunchtime a car drove past me with an england flag hanging out the window.

why are people being more patriotic this year?
