I think I can safely say counting woolly animals doesn't work. Woke up about an hour ago, tried a warm drink, and all the usual stuff but pretty much awake. The place feels too quiet and empty .

I don't think it's the golf it's the golf widowhood that's the problem. The usual thing, blokes forgetting that life needs to change when you have responsibilities.

Know exactly what you mean Rowanwitch, today is the first anniversary of Mr F's death. I woke at exactly the time he passed this morning.
Had the miseries for a while, and a good weep, but I know that no matter how difficult, we HAVE to carry on.
Thoughts are with everyone who has suffered a similar loss.

Ferlew, a year already, adversaries are difficult, especially the first. I do believe that on days like today you deserve a treat. be it chocolate, wine, clothing, or a huge cream cake . Take care .

A treat no what we need is a hug, and that little voice in the back of your head saying well done, Ferlew, it's amazing how fast time flies I have just put the fruit into soak for my Christmas cake and yet it seems only a few days ago Dave died and that was in flaming June and we were all saying how lovely the weather was. I wish you all the best, I know anniversaries and holiday periods are hard.
