iv been stung!!!

iv just been stung by a nettle in the garden' i thought the weed was dead so iv gone to pull it out by its stem and got a really sharpe pain' i cant see anything there and theres no broken skin but now my finger fells a little num now and i cant put preasure on it! do you think theres something in it?

sounds like they weren't nettles, as nettles sting dead or not.

there is another plant that has very similar leaves to nettles but has a spikey stem.

and dave, when people are trying to help, it would be an idea not to get snotty about it, makes you sound a bit...mmm....well....
