New car delivered at 13:00 by a Trade Plater. Looks gorgeous, Race Blue Metallic with Black Interior. Checked it over very carefully, it's good, so then we gave the TP a lift to a roundabout on Thanet Way so it would be easier for him to get a lift, and since we were on the Thanet Way we had a bit of a play with it, we're going to get along just fine I think.

Gawd. I have had my Skoda from new for 13months. First service plan and oil change 3 weeks ago with 2,800 on the clock and I had to seriously think for about 2 minutes what colour the interior trim was. Grrr

Baldric, coming back to your OP, I remember once when a new car was delivered to our home by a TP. He arrived circa 2:00 pm one Tuesday afternoon. Once everything was completed, he asked me where the village bus stop was, I pointed to it - 50 yards down the road. "Oh good, that's handy!" he exclaimed. He asked me when the next bus to town was due. I replied "Thursday!"

Retro, forgot to answer your question, got the luggage area kitted out with a liner, a space-saver spare wheel, an audio upgrade and I splashed out on leather which I will no doubt do again at some stage.

I asked for a full size spare wheel and got the space saver.I do not like them. I suppose a worse alternative was the pressurised goo that came with my wife's Fabia Estate to get her out of trouble. I did order a spare full size wheel for her as she did,at the time,a load of driving to remote Scotland.
I approve of the leather. Mine is grey with Metallic Black exterior.

Every time I see this OP spring up on latest posts I groan and think,"Oh no. Whats he done?" My glass is always half empty not half full :-)
