Red Bookcases?

Dave and I have to mix and match our furniture between two homes....one here and one in Ireland.....

Now, I hate red.....pillar box red not red hair of course....probably because I grew up listening to The Wearing of the Green.
I have nothing red in my home....I never wear red....and Dave has four bloody red bookcases to put somewhere.... :-(

So....does the laid back me....

a: Accommodate those bookcases and smile.
b: Paint them green.
c: Set fire to them.
d: Pay the removal men to drop them off the ferry on the way to Ireland.

Your suggestions will be much appreciated.....thanks...Gx

Knock them apart, use the excuse easier and cheaper to transport.
Then with your power tools and skills accidentally rebuild them into something else that impresses the "sunny one".

Accommodate them and try and learn to love them (or at least tolerate them). They're his things and part of his life.

You then have grateful Dave rather than resentful Dave. Grateful men can be very generous in every area ;)

The real problem is not the bookcases ... it's the very fancy red 'underpinnings' (ahem) that I have bought as a potential housewarming gift ...

... looks like I might be selling on eBay ... :+(

Thank you for your answers and the banter.... :-)....well except for Dave's....he can jolly well ebay anything red he's bought me to wear not matter how fruity it is!

I don't know that one, Hoppy....hum it and I'll see if I can sing along..x

I do quite fancy a grateful Dave....but not enough to live with red bookcases....Ael may be right....a terrible accident... ;-)

Still mulling over......may have to make him another bookcase quilt to cover up the lot.....but they will still be red.....and I can't have red in a house.....

Funny old life when you need to choose between a man and a red bookcase.... ;-)
