I was reffering to my answer to the supposed question by the same person 2 threads above TOMTECH where he does not give enough details and does not ask a question but makes a statement!

To BIG A........... Cycle through your computer screen on your dash to "miles to service" then press your reset button, This is the same button on the dash where you reset your trip mileage, hold the reset button down for a few seconds until you hear a beep and the service light should dissapear.

If this does not work join the forum below and either search the site or ask your question there GIVING FULL DETAILS OF YOUR CAR AND THE PROBLEM.

im not sure, ( women ! ) but my corsa is due a service and my friend thinks that the service message can ony be cleared by a mechanic. not sure though ( i repeat ! lol )

when the serv light comes on on a renault it indicates a malfunction as this is a malfunction lamp.it can only be turned off using diagnostic equipment.
