The yeasts that cause foot odour are killed stone dead by plain old vinegar (but the cosmetics merchants don't want you to know). A vinegar-wet lump of cotton wool rubbed thoroughly between the toes after washing well will do it. For good measure do this at least once a month. As for the shoes try any of the above - you could also wet the inside with dilute fungicide (e.g, patio wash, kills what is a sort of mould, especially in trainers) and dry thoroughly. Perhaps most importantly, feet that are cooped up in a virtually airtight container (e.g trainers) respond entirely predictably: they sweat. Don't wear your shoes so much - if you are embarrassed about anything it is almost certainly your bused feet and are afraid of taking off your shoes (in this case the shoes are the chicken that comes before the egg). Wear vented footwear, such as sandals, if you must but best of all take off your shoes indoors.
