We had to go over this when we were driving to and from Telford. There is a sign announcing they employ 382 workers on the scheme. On both of our journeys we saw hundreds of workers in their fluorescent jackets. Not a single one was working or doing anything. They were all standing around or leaning on something. It was so noticeable. No wonder it's been going on from 2017 and will not finish until late 2019.

Yes I know what you mean, Caran. I saw the same on the M5 a few weeks ago.

I bet you didn't get above 30mph did you ?.
I didn't anyway and that was when we were moving at all !.

It seems that every time I use the M5 there are serious delays somewhere on it's route due to roadworks ( Bristol seems to have been going on forever ).
