Bit of a boring question but it's what the site's for, has anyone experience of Tempur mattresses shrinking over time? We've had ours a fair few years and it used to fit snuggly in a heavy wooden bedframe, now lengthways it's nearly 6 inches shorter than the base I'm sure, my pillow falls down the gap every night now. Widthways it's the same size it always was.
Boring? No, no... the best Q on AB this w/e already. ''I do pull it up every month or so but it slips down again'' Can't you just shove a rolled up blanket or similar in to the gap at the foot end to stop it moving? Admittedly a mattress shrinking half a foot is weird. Spice prob. has it right: blame your OH.
I think the timber in your bed is still growing, remove it's source of water and pull your mattress up to the headboard to keep your pillow, sleep well ;o)
I do pull it up every month or so but it slips down again. I don't get why this happens, I'm not imagining it, it's shorter. I wondered if air escapes and the foam contracts a bit over time?
You say we so I'm guessing your O/H 'had an accident' when you weren't there. Rather than face your wrath he went out, bought a new one, identical in every way but 6 inches shorter. Obvious really.
