When I attempt to change my homepage in internet options it always reverts back to my original page. Have I a bug in my system? any help appreciated

Homepage Hijacker. Try Xoft Spy or Spy Sweeper. Search them in google

If you do it via the TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS in Internet Explorer, do you click 'apply' to verify your action?

Also, some anti-spyware programs actually prevent changes to the IE homepage specifically to stop browser hijacking. You may have one of these installed?

Tried homepage highjacker ticked the box but will not delete my homepage !!! must be one of my anti-spyware programs stopping me. must register with xoftspy. Thanks for your suggestion will keep on trying

Problem solved, When I updated my free zone alarm it cleared my homepage "BUG" thanks for your suggestions
