I have an oil painting of Lake Louise by this artist.....we got chatting up a mountain as she was painting it and it is signed with a message for me.
Looking around paintings like this sell for between three and five hundred dollars.
This has been hanging in my garage for a few years and there are some black marks which have developed in the pale sky and snow.
I don't want to ditch it so was thinking of giving it to a charity shop with maybe a suggestion they sell it online rather than for 50p in the shop but it does look a little grubby. Is there any way I can clean the black marks off without too much damage or does it need to be done professionally...which is probably more than the painting is worth?
Thanks, Gx
