Wendilla I was at Silverstone many years ago to watch F1 about early 80's for full weekend remember seeing pit crew poring buckets of water over qualy tires to cool them

My brother in law build two cars with his friend around a renout 5 turbo engine it was faster than my 5 tubo

bit like my cousin - built a stockcar using a souped up Jag engine and then even had bumpers made from RSJ bars - approached one track's organisers and asked if there were any rules about which way round one was supposed to go - no was the response, so he went the other way......
